A game for any number of players.
Stand about 8′ (2.5m) from the pegs. Each player takes it in turns to throw all five rings. Any ring that lands on a peg scores the crresponding number. Each ring is marked with a colour that matches the colour of a peg. If a ring lands on a peg of the matching colour, that score is doubled. Each player has ten turns. The person with the highest score is the winner.
This set contains: wooden cross, painted wooden pegs and five rope rings.
The original English game was played with heavy iron disks. Variations were developed with rubber or rope rings so the game could be enjoyed on board a ship, on the lawn or even in the house. Our set is made of wood with rope rings and folds down neatly into it box.
